Relax at Temple Square
One of the things to see in Salt Lake City is our beautiful Temple Square. Located in Downtown Salt Lake, it is one of the most popular spots of Salt Lake City. Temple Square is owned by the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints and contains the famous Salt Lake Temple as well as the Salt Lake Tabernacle and Assembly Hall and is therefore a great thing to do in Salt Lake City.

Reach Temple Square by Public Transit
If you want to reach Temple Square by Public Transit, the best way is to use the Salt Lake City Trax. If you take the Trax, you can use the green or blue line and get out at Temple Square station. Reach Temple Square by Car
From I-15 Southbound
- Take the 600 North Exit off from I-15
- Turn left at the exit light Drive Eastbound to 300 West
- Turn Right onto 300 West Drive South to and turn left on North Temple Street
- Turn Right on State Street
- Turn Right onto South Temple into the Parking Ramp
- Turn Right into the Joseph Smith Memorial Building Parking at the bottom of the ramp
From I-15 Northbound
- Take the 600 South Exit off from I-15
- Turn left onto State Street
- Drive Northbound on State Street
- Turn left onto South Temple into the Parking Ramp
- Turn Right into the Joseph Smith Memorial Building Parking at the bottom of the ramp.
What is nearby Temple Square
As already mentioned, Temple Square is located really central, in Downtown Salt Lake City. Therefore, there are many restaurants, cafés or other cute stores close by which are definetly worth a stroll.
