Getting There

Antelope Island is accessible via a 7-mile causeway that starts in Syracuse, Utah. From Salt Lake City, take I-15 North to exit 332, then follow UT-108 and Antelope Drive to the causeway. (around a 25 min drive) The park entrance fee is $15 per vehicle.

Best Time to Visit

The park is open year-round, but the best times to visit are during spring and fall when the temperatures are moderate, and the wildlife is most active. Summer can be quite hot, with temperatures exceeding 90 F, and the winter can bring harsh weather conditions, making certain areas less accessible.

Frary Peak trail: 3.5 miles, showing you the highest point on the island, both a challenging and rewarding hike
Dooly Knob: 2.6 miles, a moderate hike with great views
White Rock Bay Loop: a 6.2 mile hike recommended for more seasoned hikers

Cycling: The park’s roads and trails are perfect for cyclists. Rent a bike or bring your own to explore the island. The trails range from easy paved pather to challenging off-road trails

Camping: Spend a night under the stars at one of the island’s campgrounds. Reservations are recommended, especially during peak seasons.
