Looking for a great Sugarhouse breakfast and brunch location in Salt Lake City, Utah? From mimosas, a light meal, unique bites and nosh we have you covered. Sugarhouse in SLC is a great place to start your own breakfast club as the special “eats” are endless. Food around Salt Lake City and especially in Sugarhouse is abundant, but I’ve narrowed it down to four of my favorite places for breakfasts and brunches in the area.

Looking one of the best neighborhood Sugarhouse brunch spots in SLC, Utah? Look no further than Stratford Proper located in Sugarhouse. This restaurant in Sugarhouse boasts a unique café feel. Enjoy a variety of small plates or go big with their breakfast meals. They serve unique pastries and have a full beverage menu, including their famous proper brews. Meal pricing is average and most large plates range between 12-15 dollars. This brunch spot near SLC has an outdoor seating area perfect for spring and summer dining. If you love brunch and coffee you will love Publik kitchen in the 9th and 9th area of Sugarhouse in Salt Lake City. They have taken their small coffee menu and upgraded it to full on brunch at this location. Publik coffee has teamed up with local partners to bring you delicious menu items like French Toast and Hash to appease those with mid-morning hunger. Additionally, they have BLTs and Chicken Salad Melts to make any brunch better and tastier. Give the avocado toast a try, it is a favorite. The atmosphere is cute and low frills keeping the focus on the food.

Looking for a top brunch location in SLC around Sugarhouse? How about an authentic Jewish deli in Utah? This Sugarhouse restaurant is deli done right. Try one of their deli sandwiches featuring a half pound of meat. If you’re looking for a smaller bite, get there early to snag a freshly baked bagel with shmear. I recommend trying the matzo ball soup, it’s just like “Bubbie” use to make. This family run business is a community staple and one of the best around. Hub & Spoke Diner is a unique restaurant in Sugarhouse serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in addition to wine, beer, spirits, craft cocktails, and boozy shakes all 7 days of the week. All their high-quality ingredients are sourced from local Utah farmers and artisans. They have some of the best in-house, fresh made breads & pastries, shakes & ice-cream specials, house-made sausage, house-smoked bacon and more. They also have a full espresso bar and coffee shop inside the diner. The atmosphere is light, but come hungry because portions are healthy. They also offer an interesting list of spirits. Consider trying the lavender or raspberry mimosa. Don’t worry if you can’t make it for brunch, because breakfast items are served all day. The shrimp and grits are some of the best in SLC.
