Coffee Garden: A Top Spot For Hanging Out in Salt Lake
Coffee Garden is a beautiful coffee shop located on the 9th and 9th in Salt Lake City. They are spacious with a large quantity of both indoor and outdoor seating. Classical music is always playing among the chatter and laughter, and there is art decorating the walls, making it both a fun and cheerful atmosphere. The employees are all very friendly and knowledgeable, making them very approachable if you have any questions about a menu item.
One warning, there is no WiFi, but they have a great reason. A poster on the inside states “Pretend it’s 1995. Talk to each other.” This makes it an ideal location to meet up with people and catch up – talking and making connections is encouraged!
Not only is the atmosphere great, but their menu is too. Their drinks range from teas to juices to hot chocolate and to of course, coffee. Besides coffee, many people go for the lavender lemonade. Just between their coffee there are also a lot of options. Not only do they have espresso based beverages, but they also have drip coffee and cold brew. Along with that, they have multiple plant based milk options – soy, almond, oat, and coconut. They even sell a variety of coffee bean bag blends, similar to another popular coffee shop, Alpha Coffee.
Their food offerings include both sweet and savory breakfast/lunch options, as well as desserts. They have croissants, scones, cookies, muffins, different cakes and pies, macarons, sandwiches, and quiche among other items. They have some gluten free and vegan options as well. There is truly something for everyone!
Once you are done, you can shop around in some great little boutiques such as Salt & Honey and Hip & Humble, that the optimal location at 9th and 9th gives.
